Lectrosonics introduces a new digital stereo transmitter :

The new Lectrosonics DCHT !

The new DCHT/E01 transmitter is designed for use in film and television production to provide a wireless stereo link from a bag or cart system to cameras and recorders but it is also integrated in the Duet (IFB/IEM) system. The transmitter will accept mic or line level analog signals or AES digital signals from a mixer and transmit the signals to the receiver in a pure digital format. The digital architecture is a third generation design with specially developed, high efficiency digital circuitry for extended operating time on two AA batteries.

The transmitter can tune in coarse or fine steps across the UHF television band from 470.100 to 607.950 MHz, with a selectable output power of 10, 25 or 50 mW. The pure digital architecture enables AES 256-CTR encryption for high level security applications.

Studio quality, stereo audio performance is assured by high quality components in the preamp, wide range input gain adjustment and DSP-controlled limiting. Input connections and settings are included for any lavaliere microphone, dynamic microphones and line level inputs. Input gain is adjustable over a 51 dB range in 1 dB steps to allow an exact match to the input signal level, maximizing the dynamic range and signal to noise ratio.

Lectro DCHT, 2-channel digital audio transmitter

The top panel contains the antenna jack, two audio input level LEDs (one per audio channel), the programmable function switch and the audio input jack. The red/green LEDs provide audio level indications from -20 dB to the onset of limiting for each channel for accurate input gain adjustment. The programmable switch can be configured as a mute switch, a power on/off switch, or be bypassed. The 6-pin input jack accepts two mic or line level analog signals or AES digital signals from external sources via a variety of adapter cables. Analog inputs can be linked for the same gain when used with a stereo source, or operate independently with individual settings.

The housing is constructed of solid machined aluminum for lasting ruggedness. The exterior is finished with an ultra hard, dark electroless nickel finish.

Lectrosonics introduces a new 2ch. digitale portable recorder with TimeCode....

The new Lectrosonics SPDR !

The SPDR is Lectrosonics’ response to customer demand for a small, lightweight dual channel recorder for use on virtual reality sound captures or as a backup recorder for bag systems in the field. The SPDR will let you capture the full stereo audio of an extreme sport participant, in-car scenes or in situations where a wireless system cannot be used.

When used in conjunction with a small mixer and the SRC receiver, the SPDR makes for a lightweight interview setup that provides full redundancy - all fitting into a small fanny pack.

The industry standard 5 Pin LEMO time code input allows a simple momentary jam. The high accuracy oscillator allows free running precision better than 1 ppm for those long recording days.

Offering the same high definition display as the PDR, the SPDR keypad has a tactile feedback riser on the record button for easy eyes-off recording startup. Dweedle tone commands allow easy start and stop using the PDRRemote app.

Lectro SPDR, 2-channel digital audio recorder

The SPDR has an external power input with internal battery switchover, allowing all day recording from your bag battery with an immediate fall back to the internal batteries should there be an external power loss. A 32GB memory card allows almost 30 hours of recording time at the 48kHz sample rate.

A high-quality headphone output is provided for playback and monitoring.

  • Professional quality low noise digital audio recordings in Broadcast Wave Format (iXML metadata) with high dynamic range
  • Compact size for easy bag, plant mic and personal use
  • Records to a microSDHC memory card
  • Wide range input gain adjustment for mic to line level signals
  • AES input for digital signal chains
  • Time code jam/sync from external source
  • Standard Lectrosonics TA5M input jack
  • Lectrosonics ″servo bias″ input preamp
  • Solid machined aluminum construction
  • Over 20 hours of operation on dual AA lithium batteries
  • Temperature compensating clock accurate to less than 1ppm at all temperatures

The Sidekick In-Ear Monitor
Bubblebee Industries introduces:

The Sidekick !

October 17,2018: Bubblebee launches a new In-Ear Monitor called The Sidekick. The Sidekick is a very tiny In-Ear that is specially made to be invisible. The Sidekick is great for cueing, playbacks for talents, TV-presenters etc.. The In-Ear part goes in very deep and therefore hard to spot. The cable that connects it to your IFB, or monitor output is very thin and almost invisible. The cables come in two colors, "clear" for a light skin or "brown" for darker skins. Because of its tiny size the monitor does not shut off the ambient sound to the wearer so the wearer will not notice a change of th sounds round him. Also the wearer will not experince any fatigue wearing it during a full day because it is very small and only weighs 360 milligrams.

The Sidekick In-Ear Monitor

The Sidekick comes in a two different mono versions, a version for the left ear or one for the right ear and The Sidekick comes in a stereo version.

The Sidekick comes with a variety of ear tips to fit the size of the ear but also to let pass less or more other sounds (ambient sounds) coming into the ear. The different rubber tips have names as "The Satellite", "The Cowbell" and "The Christmas Tree". 2 of each are included in the box, but they can be ordered in different sizes separately. Also in the box is "The Hippo Clip": a transparent clip to secure the cable on to your shirt etc..

The Sidekick is also delivered with 4x replacement filters to clean up the sound again when it got stuffed.

The Sidekick can be ordered HERE in our webstore.
