The Ambient QP 6200 is an extra-long boom pole from Ambient's Jumbo series, specifically designed for stand-mounted applications such as recording orchestras, churches, film sets, or surround setups. With an extendable length from 2.40 to 10.60 meters, this boom pole offers exceptional reach, ideal for situations where microphones need to be placed far from the sound source. The QP 6200 is constructed from high-quality carbon fiber, providing an optimal balance between stiffness and weight. The 1.5 mm thick tube walls minimize handling noise, and the boom pole is resistant to cold and wet environments without seizing. A stainless steel 3/8" thread at the tip ensures reliable attachment of microphone accessories. The QP 6200 can be easily disassembled for cleaning and maintenance.
