Cinela PIANI-2-CMCCUT1-CCM8 MS Windshield

The Cinela PIANI-2-CMCCUT1-CCM8 is a PIANISSIMO windshield system for a Schoeps MS setup comprising a CMC microphone amplifier, CUT 1 filter and suitable MK capsule as the Mid microphone, alongside a CCM 8 L as the Side microphone. The suspension is adapted to this combination and reduces the transmission of mechanical vibration.

Main features

• Configured for a CMC microphone with the CUT 1 low-cut filter fitted between amplifier and capsule.
• CCM 8 L with a figure-eight pickup pattern for the Side signal.
• Suspended PIANISSIMO basket with acoustically transparent 3D fabric.
• 5-pin male XLR output carrying the separate Mid and Side signals.
• Fur windshield for additional wind protection.

Configuration and connection

This version is intended for the combination with CUT 1. Specify the CMC amplifier and MK capsule when ordering so that the suspension and cabling can be matched to the complete microphone setup. A suitable XLR5 breakout cable is required for connection to two separate microphone inputs.
