The Hawk-Woods BP-98UX is a 98Wh lithium-ion battery with a BP-U mount, designed as a direct replacement for Sony BP-U type batteries. This battery provides an output voltage of 14.4V and features two D-Tap outputs (11–17V) for powering accessories. The BP-98UX utilizes the original battery contacts for power delivery and includes a built-in four-LED fuel gauge. Its integrated Total Battery Protection system offers safeguards against over-discharge, over-voltage, short circuit, and overheating.
