The DPA MMP-A is an active, transformerless preamp with XLR output, designed for use with all modular pencil microphone capsules from DPA. It features active drive for impedance balancing and a 20 dB attenuation switch at the XLR connector. The design ensures transparent amplification with extremely low distortion.
