DPA 4099 CORE+ Classic Touring Kit – 10 Microphones

The KIT-4099-DP-10C contains ten DPA 4099 CORE+ instrument microphones in the Loud SPL version, with MicroLock extension cables, DAD9001 XLR adapters and a selection of instrument clips. This version is supplied with a Peli case with pouches.

The supercardioid polar pattern reduces pickup from surrounding instruments. CORE+ reduces distortion across the dynamic range. The improved microphone suspension limits vibrations from the instrument and stage, while the flexible gooseneck allows precise capsule positioning.

The Classic kit uses the 4099-DP-1 Loud SPL microphone with a sensitivity of 6 mV/Pa. The supplied clips provide mounting options for bass, cello, guitar, piano and violin, alongside universal clips, clamp mounts and a microphone stand clip.

Compatibility

DPA confirms that the 4099 CORE+ is compatible with all generations of DPA instrument clips and with accessories featuring a MicroDot connector. The supplied cables and XLR adapters use MicroLock. Wireless operation requires a suitable DPA adapter for the respective transmitter system; this is not included.

Other Versions

The Rock kit uses the 4099-DP-2 Extreme SPL microphone with a lower sensitivity of 2 mV/Pa for instruments producing extremely high sound pressure levels. The selection and quantities of instrument clips differ between kits.
