Slip-on windshield with black synthetic fur for microphones with a 19–22 mm diameter. Open-cell foam and fur reduce wind noise in light to moderate winds while preserving high-frequency detail.

For other microphones, check that all acoustic slots are within 7 cm of the microphone tip. Leave sufficient space behind the capsule for the microphone holder. The 7 cm size describes the available length for these slots, not the overall exterior length.
