Radius 10cm Nimbus Windshield (19/22), Black Fur

Slip-on windshield with black synthetic fur for microphones with a 19–22 mm diameter. Open-cell foam and fur reduce wind noise in light to moderate winds while preserving high-frequency detail.

Main Features

• Up to 25 dB of wind-noise reduction.
• Perforated rubber end cap with a pepperpot structure helps minimise changes to the microphone's polar pattern.
• Slides directly onto the microphone.

Compatibility

Sony ECM-XM1 and HDV Z7; JVC MV-P615.

For other microphones, check that all acoustic slots are within 10 cm of the microphone tip. Leave sufficient space behind the capsule for the microphone holder. The 10 cm size describes the available length for these slots, not the overall exterior length.
