The E-OSIX-MKH50-S is a Cinela suspension specifically designed for the Sennheiser MKH 40 and MKH 50 microphones. This SOFT version utilizes elliptical isolators to effectively dampen vibrations and handling noise, resulting in improved recording quality. The modular design includes a suspension module, cable, swivel mechanism, and locking knob, providing flexibility for various setups.
This suspension is optimized for indoor use with a foam windscreen or possibly the LEO-25N without fur. For outdoor use with wind protection, the HARD version is recommended. The E-OSIX-MKH50-S is easy to mount on a boompole or stand, offering stable support for the microphone.
