The EMP 3.5 is an adapter that converts 48V phantom power to 5.6V electret power. It allows lavalier microphones with a 3.5 mm TRS (miniJack) connector to be used with XLR equipment. The adapter provides a balanced low-impedance signal and is compatible with Sennheiser Evolution mics.
