The Hawk-Woods NPD-TA4 is an NP1 battery adapter featuring a TA4 output, specifically designed for use with the Sound Devices 833, 888, and Scorpio mixer/recorders. This adapter provides an unregulated power output via a 45 cm TA4 cable and is compatible with all NP1-type batteries. When used with the Hawk-Woods NP-98D data battery, the NPD-TA4 can pass communication data to the mixer, allowing users to view battery status information on the mixer's screen.
