Hawk-Woods SD-1 – Hirose DC Input Sled for Sound Devices MixPre 3/6

The Hawk-Woods SD-1 is a Hirose DC input sled designed to provide external power input for Sound Devices MixPre-3 and MixPre-6 recorders. Power is supplied via a standard 4-pin Hirose connector with an input voltage range of 10–20 volts.

The SD-1 mounts to the rear of the recorder in the same way as the original Sound Devices battery sled and clicks securely into place to ensure a reliable connection. This allows users to power the device directly from an external source.
