The Sanken CS-2 is a shotgun microphone with a rectangular capsule, designed for sharp directivity and a natural, rich sound. With a 120 mm acoustic tube in a compact 249 mm housing, the CS-2 delivers excellent performance for long-distance pickup without being oversized. Its built-in high-boost compensates for high-frequency attenuation when using a windscreen.
