The Sanken CSR-2 is a shotgun microphone with exceptionally sharp directivity. It combines a line-tube design for mid to high frequencies with a second-gradient capsule system for low to mid frequencies, effectively suppressing background sensitivity across the full frequency range. At 250 mm in length and 170 g in weight, the CSR-2 is compact and easy to handle, whether mounted on a boompole or camera.
