Sanken CSS-50

Sanken CSS-50 Stereo Shotgun Microphone
The Sanken CSS-50 is a compact stereo shotgun microphone with three selectable modes: Mono, Stereo (Normal) and Wide Stereo. Thanks to its newly designed capsules housed in a short acoustic tube, the CSS-50 delivers the same performance as the CSS-5 in a lighter and shorter body, measuring only 215 mm and weighing 160 g. Using the X-Y stereo method, it achieves precise localization with reduced wind and vibration noise. The CSS-50 combines sharp directivity in Mono mode with a natural stereo image in Normal mode and an expanded stereo field in Wide mode.
