Wrinex WX‑BX1

The Wrinex WX‑BX1 is a handmade 8-slot charger for Sound Devices BX1 batteries. Its compact form factor (4.8 × 11.4 × 8.8 cm) makes it ideal for small setups and mobile work. Each slot uses a matched charge controller with ±1 % accuracy (4.16–4.22 V, slightly biased low to maximise cell life). All PCBs are manually tested; any chip outside tolerance is replaced.

The charger runs worldwide using a 25 W Meanwell power supply (input: 85–264 V AC), or via 12–36 V DC from carts or laptop adapters. Passive cooling requires no fan. Dual LEDs (green/red on both sides of each slot) enhance charge visibility from multiple angles.
