Bubblebee The Windkiller XS+

The Windkiller XS+ is a long-haired plug-on windshield for the Sanken CS-M1 and CMS-50. It slides directly onto the microphone and helps reduce wind noise during outdoor recording. The internal length for the microphone section to be covered is 80 mm.

XS, XS+ or XS Big Mount?

XS+ has an internal length of 80 mm and a specific fit for the Sanken CS-M1 and CMS-50. The Windkiller XS and XS Big Mount both have an internal length of 55 mm, with different mounting openings. These versions should therefore not be treated as interchangeable.

Long-haired or Short-haired?

The long-haired version provides greater wind protection. A more compact Windkiller XS+ Short-haired version is also available for moderate wind.
