The Hawk-Woods AA-HP36-8 is an 8-pack of rechargeable 3.6 V lithium-ion AA batteries of type B14500. Each battery has a capacity of 1100 mAh and an energy rating of 4 Wh. Designed for high-drain devices and suitable for use with the Sound Devices Astral TX (A20-TX) and Astral Mini Plus, which use 14500 lithium-ion cells. The cells support a maximum discharge rate of 3 C (3300 mA), maintain stable output down to a 2.5 V cutoff, and include protection against overcharge, short circuit, over-discharge and thermal faults.

Not suitable for devices that only accept 1.5 V AA batteries. Airline regulations for transporting lithium-ion batteries may apply. Also available as the Hawk-Woods AA-HP36-4 4-pack.
