The Astral TX is a wideband transmitter for wireless audio in the Sound Devices Astral system. It features tuning from 169 to 1525 MHz (region and receiver dependent), 100% digital RF modulation, and GainForward architecture allowing gain control from receiver or mixer. The unit includes a 32-bit float recorder with 64 GB of internal memory, USB-C port, timecode input, and power via 3 AA batteries or external DC. Settings can be controlled via the Astral Web App or onboard buttons with display. The robust housing includes removable SMA antennas.
