The Astral HH is a digital handheld wireless transmitter from the Sound Devices Astral series. It supports SpectraBand tuning (470–1525 MHz), includes NexLink remote control, and combines rugged design with wide customization for capsules and control interfaces.

The capsule collar is compatible with Shure and Sennheiser capsules, as well as Sound Devices’ own CD1 cardioid capsule. The control ring can be configured with one button, three buttons, or a sliding switch. RocketAntenna technology ensures stable RF performance regardless of hand contact. The unit is powered by the XL-B18650 lithium-ion battery, providing over 10 hours of runtime at 10 mW.
