The Sound Devices Astral ARX8 is an 8-channel True Diversity receiver with SpectraBand technology (470–1525 MHz). It provides extensive connectivity including SuperSlot, Dante, AES, and analog outputs. The ARX8 supports GainForward architecture, full remote control via NexLink, and real-time RF monitoring with built-in spectrum analyzer. Operation is managed through a Web App and a bright OLED screen. Power options include SuperSlot, DC input, and PoE+.
