The Schoeps MK 4, matched pair comprises two matched cardioid condenser microphone capsules for the modular Colette system. Supplied with a matching certificate, the pair is intended for stereo applications where consistency between the two recording channels matters.

The MK 4 has a flat frequency response and consistent off-axis sound. The pair can be used in XY and ORTF arrangements for recording acoustic instruments and ensembles. Two suitable Colette microphone amplifiers are required for operation.
