NoiseAssist is a software license for the Sound Devices Scorpio that reduces background noise during recording, such as traffic, ventilation or generator noise behind dialogue. This version provides 2 instances to process two signals separately.

Compatibility and use

For the Scorpio. NoiseAssist is not available on input channels 17–32.

The license is tied to one recorder and cannot be transferred to another recorder. NoiseAssist reduces background noise; it is not designed to remove clothing rustle from a lavalier microphone.
