NoiseAssist is a software license for the Sound Devices MixPre-10 II that reduces background noise during recording, such as traffic, ventilation or generator noise behind dialogue. This version provides 1 instance to process one channel or the L or R bus.

Compatibility and use

This license is for the MixPre-10 II, not a first-generation MixPre. NoiseAssist can run alongside MixAssist, but cannot be used simultaneously with the Musician or Ambisonics plugin. Processing two signals simultaneously requires the two-instance version.

The license is tied to one recorder and cannot be transferred to another recorder. NoiseAssist reduces background noise; it is not designed to remove clothing rustle from a lavalier microphone.
