The vdB HAND-QT-2 is a short carbon fibre microphone boom pole with two telescopic sections. Its length adjusts from 24 to 40 cm, and it weighs 100 g including the Quick Lock. It provides a short extension between your hand and the microphone suspension when the reach of a longer pole is unnecessary.
Quarter-turn length adjustment
The QT lock secures the extending section with a quarter turn. Release the lock, adjust the length and tighten it again. With two sections, there is just one telescopic joint to operate.
Choosing a Hand-series pole
The HAND-QT-2 is the shortest version. The three-section HAND-QT-3 extends from 37 to 93 cm and weighs 156 g including the Quick Lock. Choose the HAND-QT-2 for its smaller collapsed size; the HAND-QT-3 provides greater distance from the sound source.
