The Schoeps MK 41 [131017] is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone capsule from the Colette series with a supercardioid pickup pattern. It is chosen when stronger directionality is required while maintaining a stable tonal balance for off-axis sound.

The MK 41 is widely used for focused speech and instrument pickup, and as a spot microphone in ensembles and on stage, when you need more rejection of side and rear sound than a cardioid capsule provides.
