The Schoeps CMC 6 U is an analog microphone amplifier from the modular Colette system. Combined with a Schoeps MK capsule, it forms a condenser microphone for applications including music recording, dialogue and studio production. The interchangeable capsule determines the microphone’s polar pattern and acoustic characteristics.

The CMC 6 U features a balanced XLR3M output and operates on either 12 V or 48 V phantom power. Schoeps RFI Shield reduces susceptibility to radio-frequency interference. Its low output impedance supports long microphone cable runs; the usable cable length also depends on the cable and the connected input.
