The Schoeps W 20 R1 is a basket-type windscreen with synthetic fur cover, designed for microphones with a 20 mm capsule diameter. It consists of a W 20 basket and a detachable R1 fur-like cover. The W 20 R1 reduces wind noise by approximately 13 dB compared to the W 20, without noticeable impact on sound quality.

Not compatible with CCM microphones. The microphone capsule should be positioned centrally inside the basket.
