The Sanken CUB-01PT is a variant of the CUB-01 boundary microphone, supplied with a stripped cable end for direct connection to wireless transmitters. Like the standard CUB-01, it features a unique square capsule design with cardioid directivity at the front side of the hemisphere. This delivers a rich, full-bodied sound without the “thin” character common to conventional boundary microphones. With its compact size (32.5 mm diameter, 14 mm height, 45 g), the CUB-01PT is easy to conceal on set or stage.
