Schoeps A 20

The Schoeps A 20 is a classic elastic suspension mount for microphones with a diameter of 20 or 21 mm, such as the CMC 6 preamplifier. This suspension mount is designed to reduce structure-borne noise and is recommended when maximum protection against vibrations is required, such as when used on a boom arm.

Features:

• Compatible with microphones with a diameter of 20 or 21 mm, such as the CMC 6 preamplifier
• Mounting with a 5/8"-27 NS internal thread, including adapters for 3/8" and 1/2" stands
• Special clamp for securing the microphone cable
• Adjustability: the microphone can be tilted to any desired angle

The A 20 is less effective in isolating structure-borne noise compared to more modern systems like the AC 20, and is therefore best suited for applications with minimal structure-borne noise, such as in studio environments. For better isolation, the A 20 S is recommended.
