The Schoeps CCM 2H K is a compact omnidirectional condenser microphone with an integrated capsule and microphone amplifier. The K version has a fixed 5 meter cable with an XLR-3M connector for connection to a microphone input supplying phantom power.

For medium recording distances

A mild high-frequency rise above 6 kHz compensates for treble losses as reflected sound contributes more to the recording. The CCM 2H K is designed for medium recording distances, where direct and reflected sound are approximately equal in level. Applications include instrument and orchestral recording, including spaced AB stereo and Decca Tree arrangements.

At the same recording distance, the CCM 2H has less high-frequency emphasis than the CCM 2S.
