Schoeps Mono-Set CMC 1 U, MK 2H [138209]

The Schoeps Mono-Set CMC 1 U, MK 2H combines an MK 2H omnidirectional capsule with the compact CMC 1 U microphone amplifier. The set includes one complete modular Colette microphone with an analog XLR output, stand clamp, foam pop screen and a wooden storage case.

Applications

The MK 2H has a gentle acoustic response elevation above approximately 6 kHz. This compensates for high-frequency loss when reflected sound contributes more strongly to the recording.

The set suits instrument and orchestral recording at medium distances, where direct and reflected sound contribute in approximately equal amounts. Although the capsule is omnidirectional, its orientation still matters at high frequencies.
