The Schoeps RC 700 is a 700 mm active extension tube for the Colette system. The MK capsule mounts at the top, while the CMC microphone amplifier screws directly onto the connection at the bottom.

The slim tube keeps the microphone setup visually unobtrusive, for example when placed between orchestral instruments. The joint at the upper end allows the capsule to be aimed at an angle from 0° to 120°.
