Schoeps Stereo-Set CMC 6, MK 22 [139004]

The Schoeps Stereo-Set CMC 6, MK 22 contains two complete Colette microphones with matched MK 22 open cardioid capsules and CMC 6 U microphone amplifiers. It comes with a matching certificate, two stand clamps, two windscreens and a wooden storage case.

Applications

The open cardioid polar pattern lies between the MK 4 cardioid and the MK 21 wide cardioid. The set suits main-pair ensemble recording and separate spot microphone applications.

For stereo recording, Schoeps gives an example arrangement with 21 cm capsule spacing and an included angle of 110°. Final placement depends on the width of the ensemble, recording distance and room acoustics.
