AudioRoot eSMART DUO

The AudioRoot eSMART DUO is a compact sound bag power distributor with two smart battery inputs and six Hirose-compatible DC outputs. It combines power distribution with detailed battery monitoring and allows a battery to be changed while another connected power source continues supplying the equipment.

The colour OLED displays remaining capacity, estimated runtime, voltage, current and power. Temperature, cycle count, serial number and cell voltages are also available. Four screen layouts provide combined information, individual battery information and legacy and auto views.

Compatibility and Powering

The DUO supports AudioRoot smart batteries, including the Li-48neo, Li-49Wh, Li-96neo and Li-98Wh. With suitable connection cables, the LiFe-256Wh, LiFe-640Wh and BC1150 can also provide power. The DUO does not support conventional batteries without smart communication.

The standard TA4M inputs require suitable smart battery cables, such as the eTA4F-OUT-4W. The DUO-PSU provides mains power. A suitable USB-C PD power supply can be connected using the optional ePSB-TA4F, or a DUO-CAB module with a USB-C input.

The eSMART BG-DH MKII provides one smart battery input and six Hirose outputs. The eSMART TRIO expands this to three power inputs, eight DC outputs and USB-A and USB-C power outputs.
