The Lectrosonics DSSM/E01-B1C1 is an ultra-compact, fully digital micro transmitter designed for situations where small size, water resistance and reliability are critical. The DSSM uses third generation digital architecture with power-efficient circuitry, delivering robust performance in a housing no larger than a matchbox. With IP57 protection and a removable LB-50 battery, it is built for theater, film, TV and broadcast productions where transmitters are often concealed.

The DSSM accepts mic- or line-level analog signals as well as AES digital sources, converting them to a pure digital RF transmission. Supporting both D2 and HDM modes, it can be used flexibly in standard or high-density environments. RF output is selectable at 10, 25 or 50 mW (D2) and 4 mW (HDM), with battery life ranging from 4.5 to 6.75 hours depending on settings.

Besides this B1C1 version (Block B1C1, 537.600–691.175 MHz), the DSSM/E01-A1B1 is also available for Block A1B1.
