AudioRoot eSMART BG-DU

The AudioRoot eSMART BG-DU is a power distributor with eight Hirose-compatible outputs and a universal battery fuel gauge. Three locking switches control the output groups. The colour OLED shows remaining capacity, estimated runtime, battery voltage, current and power consumption.

The BG-DU monitors both smart and conventional batteries. It reads eSMART battery information through SMBus. With conventional batteries, an internal coulomb counter and calibration routine learn battery capacity and track consumption.

Compatibility and Connection Cables

Compatible with the Li-48neo, Li-49Wh, Li-96neo and Li-98Wh. Smart communication requires a four-conductor input cable, such as the eHRS4-OUT-4W.

Conventional SLA, NiMH and lithium-ion batteries are supported within the specified input-voltage range. Standard capacity tracking for conventional batteries supports up to 40 Ah.

Other Versions

The eSMART BG-DU-REG adds two isolated 12V channels and a 9V channel. The smaller eSMART BG-DH MKII provides six outputs and is intended exclusively for smart batteries. The eSMART DUO provides two power inputs with hot swapping.
