The Schoeps CCM 41V L is a compact supercardioid condenser microphone for music and speech recording. The capsule and microphone amplifier are integrated into one housing. Its side-address orientation facilitates compact stereo arrangements where microphone bodies would otherwise get in each other's way.

Directionality and applications

The polar pattern remains consistent across a broad frequency range, minimizing tonal changes when a sound source moves off-axis. The CCM 41V L is used as a spot microphone, a main microphone and for the sideways-facing supercardioid channels in OCT setups.

Connection and powering

The included K 5 LU connects the microphone to a recorder, mixer or preamplifier input supplying P12 or P48 phantom power. The cable is detachable at the Lemo connection.
