The Schoeps MK 21 [131003] is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone capsule from the Colette series with a wide cardioid pickup pattern. It is often chosen when you want natural spaciousness combined with more directionality than an omni.

Thanks to its even off-axis behaviour, tonal balance stays consistent for both direct sound and reflections. This makes the MK 21 suitable for interior dialogue, ensemble recording and stereo setups where room information should remain natural.
