The Schoeps CCM 2S K is a compact omnidirectional condenser microphone with an integrated capsule and microphone amplifier. The K version has a fixed 5 meter cable with an XLR-3M connector for connection to a microphone input supplying phantom power.

For AB stereo and Decca Tree

A gentle high-frequency rise for frontal sound compensates for treble losses as the contribution of the reverberant field increases. This makes the CCM 2S K suitable for placement near the critical distance, where direct and reverberant sound are approximately equal in level. It is widely used in spaced AB stereo and Decca Tree arrangements.
