Schoeps CMIT 5

Schoeps CMIT 5 – Shotgun Microphone in Blue Finish
The Schoeps CMIT 5 is a high-grade shotgun microphone widely used in film, television, and music production. Its directional response increases gradually with frequency, providing natural off-axis attenuation without coloration. This results in a balanced sound image with minimal artifacts when used on a boom pole.
This version features the classic Schoeps blue finish. Two other color options are available:
Three switchable filters allow adaptation to various recording environments:
- High-frequency boost (+5 dB at 10 kHz)
- Steep low-cut filter (18 dB/oct. below 80 Hz)
- Gentle low-cut filter (6 dB/oct. below 300 Hz)
