The Schoeps Mono-Set CMC 1 U, MK 22 combines an MK 22 open cardioid capsule with the compact CMC 1 U microphone amplifier. The set includes one complete modular Colette microphone with an analog XLR output, stand clamp, wind protection and a wooden storage case.

Applications

The open cardioid polar pattern lies between the MK 4 cardioid and the MK 21 wide cardioid. This combination suits soloists and spot microphone applications where both the sound source and room acoustics are captured.

The microphone can also serve as the mid microphone in an M/S arrangement with a separate figure-eight microphone. This mono set contains one microphone.
