Schoeps Stereo-Set CMC 1 U, MK 2H [139202]

The Schoeps Stereo-Set CMC 1 U, MK 2H contains two compact Colette microphones with matched MK 2H omnidirectional capsules and CMC 1 U microphone amplifiers. It comes with a matching certificate, two stand clamps, two foam pop screens and a wooden storage case.

Applications

The MK 2H capsules have a gentle acoustic response elevation above approximately 6 kHz. This compensates for high-frequency loss when reflected sound contributes more strongly to the recording. The set suits instrument and orchestral recording at medium distances.

For A/B stereo, the microphones are placed apart. Microphone spacing and distance from the sound source help determine stereo width and the balance between direct sound and room acoustics.
