The Schoeps Mono-Set CMC 6, MK 2 combines an MK 2 omnidirectional capsule with a CMC 6 U microphone amplifier. The set includes one complete modular Colette microphone with an analog XLR output, stand clamp, foam pop screen and a wooden storage case.

Applications

The MK 2 is free-field equalized, providing a flat frequency response for frontally arriving sound. The set suits instrument recording at relatively short distances.

Although the capsule is omnidirectional, its orientation still matters at high frequencies, where sensitivity is not identical in every direction.
