The Schoeps MK 4V matched pair [131103mp] consists of two carefully matched cardioid capsules from the Colette series, each featuring a vertical (side-address) pickup axis. This makes them suitable for fixed installations where the microphone cannot be rotated freely, such as ceiling mounts, panel integration, or setups requiring precise directional orientation.

The MK 4V has a slight HF lift around 10 kHz, enhancing clarity and speech intelligibility. Thanks to the acoustically transparent housing, the off-axis coloration is minimized, offering a natural sound image even outside the main axis.
