The Schoeps Desert Island Boom Set [134301] combines three essential Colette components in a single compact kit: the CMC 1 U microphone amplifier, the MK 41 supercardioid capsule and the KMIT shotgun capsule. The set is designed for dialogue recording in both indoor and outdoor environments without compromise.

Indoors, the MK 41 provides controlled pickup with a frequency-independent polar pattern. Sound from the sides and rear is strongly attenuated while remaining free of coloration. Outdoors, the KMIT delivers increased directivity, derived from the CMIT series, combining high directionality with stable off-axis sound.

At the core is the CMC 1 U, a compact Colette amplifier offering electrical performance equal to or exceeding the CMC 6 in a significantly shorter housing. As part of the modular Colette system, it accepts all MK capsules, allowing expansion without replacing the amplifier.

Switching between the MK 41 and KMIT takes only seconds, making the set immediately adaptable to changing recording conditions. All components are finished in the characteristic blue design.
