The Sound Devices Astral Mini Plus is a compact digital bodypack transmitter with integrated recording, IP67 protection, and full SpectraBand tuning coverage from 169–1525 MHz. It is designed for film, broadcast, theatre, and live production workflows where compact size, extended battery runtime, and reliable RF performance are required.

Astral Mini Plus supports GainForward Architecture, allowing gain staging to be handled entirely at the mixer while preventing transmitter clipping. The integrated 32-bit float recorder with 64 GB internal storage supports up to approximately 80 hours of recording at 48 kHz.

The housing is IP67 waterproof and sweat-proof and features an integrated rotating belt clip with four positions (0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°). The ePaper display remains readable even without installed batteries.

The Astral Mini Plus operates on one or two XL-B14500 batteries and supports integrated USB-C charging. NexLink remote control and Bluetooth control via the Astral Remote app are built in.
