AudioRoot eSMART Li-49Wh

The AudioRoot eSMART Li-49Wh is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with a nominal voltage of 14.4 V and a capacity of 49 Wh, or 3.4 Ah. It supports SMBus communication and the Smart Battery Specification, enabling compatible equipment to retrieve battery information.

An integrated microcontroller records parameters including voltage, current draw, temperature and cycle count. Compatible eSMART power distributors use this information to display battery status and estimate remaining runtime. The Li-49Wh measures 86.4 × 78.7 × 22.9 mm and weighs 239 g.

Battery Monitoring with eSMART

The smart functionality works with equipment capable of receiving battery data. A compatible eSMART power distributor allows battery capacity and estimated runtime to be monitored on the distributor. The information displayed depends on the connected device.

Compatibility and Charging

AudioRoot confirms compatibility with eSMART BG-DH MKII, BG-DU, DUO, TRIO and K-ART power distributors. AudioRoot lists eXLR4-OUT, eHRS4-OUT and eCON-OUT among the suitable battery cables. Select the cable version that matches your equipment’s power connection.

Charging options include the AudioRoot eSMART MONO CHARGER with one charging bay, the eSMART DUAL CHARGER with two independent charging bays or the eSMART QUAD CHARGER for four batteries simultaneously.

The AudioRoot eSMART TINY-C is a compact USB-C charger. It requires a separate USB-C PPS power supply supporting 5–20 V PPS and rated at least 65 W.

Comparison with Other AudioRoot Batteries

The Li-49Wh provides 49 Wh energy capacity and SMBus communication in a compact enclosure. The Li-98Wh has the same nominal voltage but offers greater energy capacity and a higher maximum continuous discharge current. The neo models add an OLED display for reading battery information directly on the pack. The larger LiFe models use LiFePO4 chemistry and are housed in Peli cases.

The models also differ in connections, permitted output current and charging equipment. Check the selected model’s specifications before using a different battery in your power system.
