The Schoeps AK 2U/SU is an adapter cable that combines two mono XLR-3F channels into a single XLR-5M cable. This cable is designed for use with stereo microphones such as the MSTC 64 U (ORTF) and CMXY 4V U (X/Y microphones). By combining this adapter cable with its counterpart, the AK SU/2U (2 x XLR-3M to XLR-5F), and a KS 5 U (XLR-5 extension cable), it is possible to create a stereo configuration using just one cable.
