Schoeps Mono-Set CMC 1 U, MK 8 [138305]

Compact Colette microphone set combining an MK 8 figure-eight capsule with a CMC 1 U microphone amplifier with XLR output. Supplied with a stand clamp, foam screen and wooden storage case.

Application and placement

The MK 8 is side-addressed, with two opposing pickup directions. A red dot marks the 0° side. Suitable as the side microphone in an M/S setup or as part of a Blumlein pair; these configurations require an additional microphone.

Connection

The CMC 1 U has a balanced 3-pin XLR output and operates on P12 or P48 phantom power. The included O-rings allow radial alignment of the capsule.
